Who is Dr Susana Adams?

She is a Nigerian-American. She attended the Middle Town High School, Middle Town, Connecticut, United States and graduated in 1998. Thereafter, she proceeded to the Long Island University, Brooklyn, New York, USA; graduating with the degree of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) in 2007. She also attended the Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts, USA, for the Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine, 2010.

Dr Adams returned to Nigeria in 2012, and to be able to better serve in the health and wellness industry, she furthered her education by attending Benue State University – M.Sc. (Health Management); Ahmadu Bello University – MBA (Marketing); University of Washington, (Leadership in Health Management); MPH (Preventive and Promotional Medicine) and several other certificates in the field of wellness and lifestyle medicine.

Dr. Susana Adams pioneered integrative medicine practice and pushed the frontier of pharmacy as well as help the nation incorporate the benefits of pharmacognosy into core medical practice in Nigeria. Accordingly, in 2015, she founded Dr. PhysiQ Global Health and Wellness Centre, Abuja, Nigeria – the First Registered Integrative Medicine Centre in the FCT, Nigeria. She is also the Founder of the First Diabetes Specialist Centre in Nigeria and the First Registered Integrative-Green Hospital Pharmacy licensed by Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria (PCN). These centres have helped thousands of people to achieve optimal health and wellness.

Dr. Susana Adams has over 18 years’ cumulative experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, regulatory, community and hospital pharmacy practice. She is a Lifestyle Medicine Expert, Pioneer Integrative Medicine Practitioner, Wellness Consultant, Motivational Speaker and Author.
